What is the best way to get syntax highlighting in rails 3.

You can use Pygments with Albino ruby Gem . The downside is that it’s a python library so you would need to install python .
SyntaxHighlighter is a popular, JavaScript plugin.
Other options are Ultraviolet, Syntax, CodeRay. CodeRay, is the most adopted.
